Tell all your friends... It is time to become the next Today's Girl @ the 2010 JCA TG Pageant & CSE. Remember to start making cards for our "Recovering American Soldier's" for Thanksgiving. Address your cards to "Recovering American Soldier", write a short note, and sign your name to each card. Please do not seal the envelopes. Cards can be handmade and decorated! Each 10 cards will earn you 1 hour of community service. Earn minimum of 8 hours turned in on Nov. 14th at the JCA Prelim & CSE and you will recieve a special token gift from Cristian, host of the CSE projects for the day. Get involved in your community as a Today's Girl! Adjust your halo girls..become an Angel to day with Tx. Angels for Service..it is so easy..just donate cards for the "Recovering American Soldier's" and or donate to the food drive (any food item, paperplates, foil, pumpkin, turkey, ham, etc.) that can be used to provide our Recovering American Soldier's with a Thanksgiving dinner. Each $10 donation value ='s 1 hr. community service. Cristian is also collecting boxes of crayons to donate to a proect for Cook Children's Hospital. We have very few contestants in this pageant due to the economy..but it is going to be a great show anyway..we have a lot of our Today's Girls Reigning Royalty girls coming and it is going to be a huge Community Service Event. Details on the pageant location and time are below. We begin the pageant between 9am and 9:30..so if you could be there by 8:30 am that would be great. Support our Troops!!! I-35, Burelson, Tx. 76028 TIME:8:30 am to 12noon at the Registration table of the 2010 Johnson County Area Today's Girl Pageant & Community Service Event. It is easiest to heading from Ft. Worth/Arlington exit off of I-35 S. (not I-35E.) heading toward Burleson..at Exit # 30..which is FM 917..go to stop sign, turn left, go across bridge, turn left again at end of bridge, stay on access road..heading toward Burleson..it is only about a mile..if that far..right after you pass the rest stop, the Church is on your right. Coming from Hwy 67 Dallas/Duncanville, Waxahachie..Take Hwy 67 towards Alvarado..Turn right on I-35 at intersection of 67 & I-35, heading towards Burleson/Joshua/Fort Worth..Stay on access road..cross intersection of FM 917 & I-35...(Big Shell station) stay on access road..go about 1 mile, pass Rest stop, Church is about 1 block further on right. Pageant Registration begins at 8:30am, Pageant will begin at 9:30am..or after registration. Judges please be there by 8:30. Dressing room opens to Reigning Royalty at 8am..it does not open to contestants untill 8:30am.TG RR please be dressed and ready at 8:30am + Approximately 6 paid contestants to 12 possible contestants, 6staff(Judges)..so approximately 30 to 35 Reigning gifts for goodie bags.
