Subject: There have been discussions on other boards about how to sell dress but this tops it! Just seen dress on ebay with a DOG in the picture. Yes a real dog on bed next to dress, if that's not enough to put buyers off I don't know what is! Anyone been to someone's house & been asked to take their shoes off & in comes dog - just done wee or poo & sits on their precious floor or BED! Some people are just unbelievable!

[> what i am amazed at is the price of the dresses. today i saw one on dance again site that is 2000euros. im not saying that the dress isnt well made or nice, im just gobsmacked at the prices being asked. i know this is a constant topic of discussion and i know that some people are happy/able to pay for dresses at this price (lucky them :) however it i pay for a dress at that price i want a brand new one that is state of the art and guarenteed to win competitions LOL!!!! -- stunned @ prices, Sat, Jul 28 2007, 9:26:10 [1]

[> [> [> [> dd's last two piece dress, which can be worn without the jacket for displays as the bodice has been finished & appliqued to match the skirt cost £700 & that includes postage from the US & £100 import duty, quoted in the UK £1500 - £1800 for the same dress, using the same materials as US maker. US maker kept us up to date with regular emails & photos -- Worth shopping around, Sat, Aug 18 2007, 0:37:32 [1]

[> Just a personal preference but I've looked at other dresses, and Some are quite nice and details are ok. Bu looking at Lorettas ther's a personal touch about her dresses, and hr input to me is invaluable. -- meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Tue, Aug 14 2007, 21:58:12 [1]
