Subject: Comission rules are that a qualified teacher must be in attendance at all classes, ie not a pupil or trainee teacher, unless in case of emergency, when it may be possible to allow a senior pupil or trainee teacher to takea class. Emergencies would be, sudden death or illness or family crisis. Permission should be sought from the local regional council when possible.
In reply to: Bridie 's message, "not sure if it's allowed or not, but it could have problems regarding insurance if the person taking the class isn't a qualified teacher, But if the person taking the class is running it ok and the children are getting their time fairly, I would think it may be better then having to miss the class completely." on Wed, Sep 12 2007, 23:05:05
