Yeah Duke!

Hey, I got a paradigm shift for ya, pertaining to b-ball

anyone notice how today's uniforms make players look like gangsta slobs?

look at the old footage, and you see those little jogger-like shorts and well tucked in shirts

even the early-mid 90's uniforms, while they had longer shorts, they were not that loose

call me a loony honkey if i don't get it, but does any other sports purist out there see this?

Hey, which came first, the chicken or the egg, the gangsta slob or the basketball player? Do all the basketball players look like thugs with their baggy pants because they want to look tough or do all the "gangsta slobs" want to look like basketball players? Ever think that maybe baggy clothes are in? What about those stupid over-sized pants that the skate kids (or goth kids, or rap/metal kids, or whatever their called these days) wear?

But I agree, I miss guys running around with the socks pulled up to their knees and the huge afro.
