I am pointing out that we have socialist tendencies that are backed by resentment of success across the board. How many hollywood types do we have saying "tax away" we can afford it. And when it comes down to it, they have the money to hire the right accountants and lawyers to hide their money, or reinvest it sdo they do not have to worry about taxes. It always seems that the middle class takes the brunt of the countries financial needs. It is a racial thing, a guilt thing and a sensational thing that I will get into more of later....... Who is "we"? The middle class? I know you mention that the middle class get the shaft most of the time, and that is what I was saying. I never really said anything about "the poor", which to me means beneath whatever the poverty level is...I meant the middle class. There may be a lower middle class, but I don't consider the lower middle class "poor". I am talking about the resentment of the rich by the middle class. By the way, what is the state of the middle class? Is there a shrinking or a growing middle class, for that matter? I guess I am looking for your insight on the socio-economic state of the country. Maybe what we need is a bit of background for this discussion. And I know you say "across the board", but I am going to be a bastard and demand some specificity here! I won't let you lay down those doublespeak phrases, buddy! And what are these "socialist tendencies"?
