referred to 160,000 paying customers as "wreck fans" spoke volumes about Bristol's stance on the new surface. Sure, it'll be safer and cheaper. But when Bristol turns to "Boring" and all those "wreck" fans don't come to the party, that's when they MIGHT admit to making a mistake. All his crap about geology is BS. The whole earth is geological. Spend enough cash, and you can make any track out of any surface. It's not like the track is built on a fault line. Been there for 50 years and hasn't collapsed yet. Trading safety for excitement. Any driver ever die at Bristol? None that I know of. Never saw a car on its roof at Bristol. Yep, I'll keep watching on TV, but I'll never go back in person. We're lucky we went when we did, and I loved every minute. NO regrets!
