I can say something I've thought for years.

Don't you find it odd that Richard Petty won exactly 200 races? Granted, it's unlikely that anyone will match 199, but Johnson is capable of it.... but isn't it odd that Richard won his 200th race, with an illegal engine and then never won again?
Isn't it possible that France and Petty cut a deal that day? Richard got #200 in front of the President... his car was illegal, but he got to keep the win. he made history, but he never won again. hhmmmmm
