I recall Schrader waving his arms for help when he was at Dale's car. Maybe, maybe not. I agree that the slow ride was out of respect, for sure. At work, someone asked me who I thought the next "Dale" would be. I just shook my head and said that wasn't going to happen. That's like asking who the next Elvis, or Reagan......there are no more. The "sub-modern" era of Nascar ended on that day as well.
