They are being rather rude, and it seems, a little bit unscrupulous. The couple took the bank to court saying all they really wanted to do was re-structure the loan because all they've been able to pay was the interest.... But the judge became so pissed at the bank and its policies, that he cancelled the mortgage... the couple now own their house free and clear.
