whom we shall call The Great White Hunter, but who did not get a deer this fall (I wushed him bad luck every day during hunting season)... anyway, this year he bought a $400 stealthcam. It has a motion sensor so any time something comes close it snaps a photo. He got some great photos of a couple bears and a big buck that was bright enough to stay away during the day.
But a huge buck is coming out to eat my apples now and he lets me get within about 20 feet before he moves away. So today Kary and I set up the camera where I feed the deer. The flash has gone off a couple times tonight. I scared the deer both time sbut I am hoping they get used to it. I am also hoping we get somethung unexpected during the night. We shall see.
