I needed a set of satin sheets for a photo shoot next week. I went to ebay and found a set.
JT, if you could look at the auction picture, I'd appreciate it...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=390120940780&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

So they arrived today. They are dark purple, and they are almost cordouroy.... I can't even describe them but they are certainly not flat and shiny like satin is supposed to be. I took them to a fabric store today and asked if it was satin and she showed me what satin is and then she said, "These sheets are not satin."
The seller hasn't gotten back to me. I can justs ee her saying, "Send them back and we will return your money." So I'll pay $16.77 to have them sent to me in the first place. Probably $10 to send them back, and she will send me my $18 back if she feels like it. Not very cost effective.
Two questions... JT, would you consider cordouroy to be satin?

Al, Larry, George & david, you are all ebayers... do you think this is falsely advertised and should I leave anegative if the seller doesn't do something about this? Upside is the seller can't leave me a negative anymore.
