No, I just used my hand. Down with their pants and usually over my lap, occasionally on their bed. I did not spank them very hard or for a long time. To be honest, I think I liked the feel of their bottoms, though I could barely admit it at the time. My mother would say "Warm his bottom!", and that was what it felt like. But often when they were younger they would cry as soon as their pants came down, so I did it very quickly. Sometimes they were in private, sometimes not.
