Hi contemplating Tom! Great to hear from you! Yes, I agree, everyone has been busy these days including yours truely. Boy, who knew a 31 month old can be a handful, but fun, she doesn't nap anymore so it seems I have no time to myself except after I put her down to bed at night.

I think your friend changed after someone came back into his life, which he didn't expect or want. I just wonder if this person or situation will ever go away. I hope he does find happiness and he begins to enjoy life again.

Yes, those whom have a job, all seem to be very busy too, times have changed as well as priority. While those who have a job I see them saving and working as much as they can because you just never know what will happen around the corner. Its no wonder, unless you are rich, there is very little room for play, that work / play balance. I know so many people whom are out of work and try to do what they can to survive.
Just remember every now and then to go out and enjoy yourself, you have to pamper yourself every now and then to realize that you do need a break now and then.

I myself haven't been in here as much as I would like. So much has been going on that some days my head feels like its spinning too fast. But sometimes things changing too fast can be a good thing, because it doesn't give me a chance to think. Still under a lot of Doctor care, the usual, nothing new. My husband will have to retrain for a whole new career, he's been off since May, he injured his back pretty good and can not drive semi anymore. So sometime this Spring hopefully he'll be going to college for the next few years to retrain in a new career.

Ariel is doing good she just ended speech therapy yesterday. She has been done with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and now she is done with speech. She has come a long way in a short time. Now if only I could potty train her uugghhh, she has no interest in it and screams when I try to put her on the potty, so I've decided to wait another 6 months to see if she will be ready by then.

Boy, I really can't wait until Spring. Usually I have no problem with Winter, but boy this year...can we say cabin fever. Ariel does not like snow or cold. I've put her snowsuit on and boots and as soon as she spends a few minutes outside...she's done. Maybe next year. Next year I'm hoping to go sleding with her.

Stay in touch, let us know how you are doing from time to time, and remember to try to balance the work / personal life every now and then, you don't want to miss out on too much life. We all need that feel good energy to flow through us to make work easier to deal with.

~ Autumn
