Sometimes, when I finish a long homework assignment for school, I'll have a cig. as kind of a treat for myself, and it's always a pleasant experience.
Tonight, I had to start and finish an essay that I had been putting off for a while, mostly because I couldn't figure out how I wanted to start it. I was more than a little bit stressed about it, so I decided to have a cig. before I started to see if it would calm me down. Well, not only did it NOT calm me down, but I didn't find it a pleasant smoking experience at all, and I put the cig. out after a couple of drags.
So, my question is, do people on this board find that smoking can really reduce their stress level?
Yes, that means YOU, a person reading this board, is being asked to answer a question, especially if you have not written here before. If you don't want to write a lot, that's fine, just a simple YES or NO will do. I think that it would be nice to get answers from a variety of people, not just the usual contributors here (but, of course, it will be great to have their opinion, too!).
I mean, I'm not going to stress out about this:):), but I would like to know what people think about this issue.
Thanks.
Linda
