Does it seem to you that Denise knew that Jeremy had a thing for Amanda but Claudia Joy was caught completely off guard when her daughter told her Amanda was with Jeremy?

Yes I think Denise was learning something about her son for the first time-everything up until that point Denise was saying West Point was good and to become an officer was important. Could this be why Jeremy was so angry? Who knows? Does it excuse him from hitting his own mother? No.... it is gonna be interesting to see Claudia Joy's reaction to Denise when she learns that Denise is happy for Jeremy and Amanda....
