Subject: Theresa read! Response... inside about my student's brother...

Hey Theresa-didnt want you to think that I was dissing you by not responding- honestly what I think is happening is the father is around more from work and his wife is working more so that she doesn't have to stay home w. the son. He is 20 years old and who knows what he is going to do -he s a very angry kid. My student doesn't like to talk about him. It is hard for me to get involved b/c I just now found out- unfortunately I am leaving my old school and heading to a new school. But before I leave to go and work at my new school, I will be talking to our social services at school that can help families in need of assistance. I will let you know what happens!

[> No worries, and thanks for the response. You know what I'd do? Call the police. If there's a suspicion of domestic violence of any kind they'll investigate. At least they will in my town. Policies may be different in different towns. This man is abusive, I don't care if he is only 20 years old. He needs help and discipline. Do what you think you should, but if I were you I would call the cops. He shouldn't get away with this just because the mother isn't around him as much now. -- Theresa, 14:45:28 07/25/07 Wed [1]
