Hello, for those who know her, and even those who dont I wanted to ask for prayer. Eva York (age 9) has been a contestant in many pageants thru out Maine. Her family lost their home, all belongings and pets in a fire Tuesday night. Eva and my daughter Natalie are good friends. I owe it to pageants, that is where they met. We have done several things outside of pageants with the York family. They are the graet people. Donations of any kind can be sent to: 1 River Rd. Orrington, ME 04474 (Eva's grandparents house). Just to fill everyone in, we are hanging in there. We have had some rough moments, and probably will have them for years when I go to look for some little thing, that we no longer have. However, the better moments are out-numbering the bad ones, and we have found some treasures amongst the rubble.

We would like to thank everyone for all their good wishes. You can not imagine how wonderful each email, message, phone call or card means. And Eva is looking forward to her big weekend at Sweetheart. She had been, understandably, very withdrawn for many days. But when I told her about Tammy's offer, she lit right up. It was such a relief to see her truly smile again. Thank you so much to everyone. I've always told people who thought I was strange allowing her to enter pageants, that there was more than just beauty involved. Now, I have absolute proof, and no one can deny it. Thank you again, to all the beautiful lights out there, and see a bunch of you in CT!!
