The Pine Tree Prince/Princess Program is designed to give young ladies and gentlemen ages 5-17 the opportunity to be involved with the Miss Maine Scholarship Pageant WITHOUT competing. Each Pine Tree Prince/Princess will attend the Pre-pageant Clinic, meet Miss Maine, perform on stage at the pageant, and have a photo in the program book and much more! There is a $50 nonrefundable entry fee which goes directly to the Miss Maine Scholarship Pageant Fund.

Each Pine Tree Princess/Prince will meet Miss Maine, Megan Beals, attend the Pre-Pageant Clinic, perform on stage at the Miss Maine Scholarship Pageant at the Crooker Theater in Brunswick, Maine, have their photo in the program book, receive a ticket to the pageant and more. Each Pine Tree Princess receives a tiara to wear at appearances throughout their reign.

Participation is for one full year that includes participation in one Miss Maine Pageant. Throughout the year, there are several additional activities planned which each participant may take part, including performance opportunities at the pre-pageant annual Springtime Gala, parades throughout the State and scheduled performances at hospitals and/or assisted living/nursing homes to bring enjoyment to others and provide community service. Also offered is participation in various Miss Maine Pageant fund raisers as hostesses/hosts, greeters, ushers, etc.

The Pine Tree Prince/Princess Program helps each of the participants gain self-confidence and poise while teaching the importance of volunteering and the enjoyment that is received through giving. It is an opportunity for each member to learn from wonderful role models such as past and present Miss Maine title holders, pageant contestants and volunteers.
