I have never heard of a pageant telling girls that they cannot hold another title in order to enter. This is VERY discriminating. My brother in law is a lawyer and I will run this by him. I have heard of girls who enter much larger pageants and are unable to enter other pageants during their reign because of the commitments involved with their title as well as the representation necessary of their title. This seems strange to me and very unfair.

and cannot be vying for another title from the time you fill out

your application until after the pageant is over (or after your year is over if you win the title). But this is for pageants such as Maine Blueberry Queen where there is a big commitment and a lot of promotional events to attend. For a little pageant like NES, it doesn't make sense. Who cares if Little Miss NES Talent can't be in the hometown fair parade because she's competing somewhere else? Only the directors who want to promote their dance school!

That way, you can make appearance as queen for that system.

Does that mean you can compete in other pageants AFTER this, even if you win?
