It never ceases to amaze me how and why people in our little warped world try and cause harm to so many others. Someone in Scotland has it in for WIDA and in doing so decided to contact that highbrow publication the Scottish Sun who are probably going to write a lovely, honest and although factual story it will be factual with a twist. To that end I think it time that WIDA tries to cause some discomfort to those people out there who think they are untouchable because of their anonymity.

Click on Enforcement and then Cases and Proceedings. At the top of the page enter in the search - Professional Skaters Assoc and read the case that was ruled on by the FTC and see if it rings any bells. My understanding is that world of Irish dance is about to face some major and for some organisations earth shaking changes. Rules such as not being allowed to dance in other org events will have to go,6 month ban will go, teachers will be able to members of more than one org etc etc etc. Bet that most of you don't know that this is about to happen. The 'power' that you all think you have over everyone is about to disappear in a puff of US regulatory smoke.
It will be a distressing time for Irish Dance as we know it but it is about time that a shakeup happened and maybe now those who think they are in control will actually start being nicer to everyone.

I read it and I disagree with you completely. First, the matter concluded with a Consent Order - meaning the parties settled, and it has NO effect on any other entity but the parties involved. Second, it is a Consent Order through the Federal Trade Commission of the US - which has NO jurisdiction over organizations outside the US. Third, that Consent Order, even if it DID apply, deals only with solicitation of skaters by other coaches. - Google Sean Gavin Irish Dance prosecuted. Why you people waste your money in that organisation is beyond me, it is not respected at all and will never be allowed to join CLRG or even Comhdhail for that matter.
