| Subject: I so, so, SO agree with you!!!!! You sound like the Mrs. America I want to see representing me for the year and years to come! don't think the directors of the system feel the same way. I want to compete - a long time dream, but don't think I can get out of states. My state director keeps telling me I can compete, but really....are they going to crown a 50+ african american women. NO! | |

Taking a look at the states themselves there's a wide range of winners from young (24) to older (44) that's a 20 year age span. Click in for a bit more." on 05:34:40 07/14/10 Wed >I'd like to know what this system is really about. | [> Subject: Too the above poster. Don't ever give up a dream. God doesn't. I will continue to compete in my state pageant because I do feel I can represent both married women and this organization. However, I would hope that somehow I could influnce Mrs. America to come up with a mission. For organizations, failure to follow and draft a mission statement leaves the organization to loose identity and well, fail. I guess as long as there are married women out there who want to compete it won't fail, but it will never be as good as it could be. | |
