Subject: Full Knee length skirt for 10yr old....Help ASAP please

would like to make a knee length skirt for my 10yr old, BUT cant make it as nice as what the fine sewers here make.
What I have done in the past is use a circle skirt (poodle skirt pattern, use the fold so there is no side seams, make it 3 layers, but just not full as to what I have seen. I am successfull in adding the fishing line, I just dont know how to make it full. And is it a pull on skirt or is there snaps etc on doing it up.

You need to add a ruffle layer for fullness. Cut your lining layer 4-6 inches shorter than the dressThen sew on a layer of ruffles made with fishline or gathered tulle (pending on what type of dress you are making) Make the ruffles what ever length is needed for the look you are going for.
