Subject: You need to add a ruffle layer for fullness. Cut your lining layer 4-6 inches shorter than the dressThen sew on a layer of ruffles made with fishline or gathered tulle (pending on what type of dress you are making) Make the ruffles what ever length is needed for the look you are going for. You can either have it hidden as an inch shorter than the dress, or have it an inch or so longer to peek out under the dress.
