Author: Verna Edwards [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 02:23:22 09/05/03 Fri My husband and I, like all the others got conned into buying 1 week in a studio at CPO for week 45 (blue) back in 2001. I have been trying to sell this with a company who buys and sells timeshares, but without much luck. What I would like to know is how do we stand if we refuse to pay anymore maintenance and give them back their timeshare, can they sue us (take us to court) because that what my husband was told by somebody at CPO. We realised striaght away we had made a mistake but did not realise that we could have pulled out once we had signed on the dotted line. This has had a terrible effect on us both financially and mentally and we just need to get shot. We paid just over £3,000 and we were hoping to get about £750 - £1,000 back.
