 I was having a conversation last night with the one girl I have mentioned who had mentioned spanking. She was saying that she admired our family, the girls were usually very well behaved. My youngest was kind of eves dropping. She said I was a really cool mom and kind of reminded her of her own. Then out of the blue she said that she misses the discipline. She said that she thinks that sometimes a good spanking is just what she needs. "Sometimes it just grounds you and keeps things in balance." I tried to play it very cool as if I were just a good listener. My daughter was obviously very interested although she tried to act like she didn't hear our conversation.
Eventually the conversation went on to other things. I wonder if this is a common sentiment with young adult girls. I wonder if she was just expressing herself or she was trying to tell me something. I'm polishing my hairbrush just in case.
