His ears dropped back and he snorted once he realized that he had been tricked - there was no food to be had. He jumped away from her, and took off on almost wobbly legs in a sprint around the enclosure. He kicked his back feet in small bucks as he went, playing and enjoying the warm sun. It didn't take long for the betrayal to be forgotten, curiosity grabbing him again as he trotted back towards the fence. He looked at her with bright eyes, pawing the ground and snorting a bit as if asking why she wasn't playing with him. If she didn't have food, it was the least she could do.
