I have read over this thread and all of the replies and I am ready to weigh in with my thoughts.

I posted awhile back that I considered you a role model. You still are. If I were there in person, I'd hand you my belt and let you whip my tail for the time my parents found those cigarettes in my room and my father didn't spank me since it is a bit late for him to do so now. (On a side note, the month of June is full of sadness. Father's Day is coming up a week of Sunday and the third anniversary of my father's death is coming up on June 27; guess I'm stuck with that double whammy for the rest of my life. ;(( ) Hold your head high, my friend.

Now, as to where Joel should go from here. I agree with Steve. Joel, you should stand tall, keep your head held high and a smile on your face. Stand up and be a man! When you see Kyle's dad tomorrow, look him in the eye, give him a great big smile, and offer him a firm, warm handshake. You'll feel great about yourself and you'll be glad you did!
