She shifts over to give him room to sit, watching him out of the corner of her eye. Being in a new place, being a bit lost was refreshing for her but seemed to be having the opposite affect on her neighbor. Even if he wasn't new around here like her he was definitely nervous about something. Being a writer she watched people enough to pick out their different emotions. Feeling a bit sorry for him but not wanting to startle him, she speaks "Hello?" the greeting sounds like a question with her naturally soft voice and she turns on her knees to face him.
