Addison stretched her arms above her head, jaw opening widely in a yawn until she heard a faint 'pop'. Mmmm. Much better. She dropped her arms back at her sides, rolling her neck back and forth. It was so damned cramped in that hellhole of a back room. Disgusting, vermin infected and cramped. Sure a pack of WOLVES could fit in there, but not a gathering of their were compatriots. With a long sigh, Addison wound her way through the tunnels until she reached the correct stop, flopping down onto one of the sickly-looking benches. Her indigo-blue cropped jacket hung open around her chest, revealing the simple white-cotton tank and soft string of pearls beneath. Some days she just didn't have the energy to be creative and fashionable. Today was one of those days.

She covered her gaping mouth with the back of her hand as she yawned once again, hazel-green eyes watering. It was time to get home, snuggle down underneath her blankets and pretend they weren't on the verge of battle. Addison didn't like battles. She liked clean towels, new shoes and cute dogs (closely followed by hot guys, but that went without saying). In the relative silence of the subway station the ticking of her watch and the occasional beeps emitted from her blackberry were shockingly loud. Each sound made her tense, snarl and, finally, laugh when she realized what had startled her.

This was going to be a long stay away from hone, she could just feel it. When mother didn't call to harp, it was because she was angry. And when mother was angry very bad things happened. Like no more money. Like getting into arguments with hotel managers about whether or not she had stolen her credit cards (they were daddy's, but he had GIVEN them to her, so she hadn't STOLEN them... just borrowed them). And, you know, bad things. That she didn't particularly like.

Perhaps it was time to appease her and start searching for a mate, even on the shallowest of levels. Anything that showed the slightest effort would probably calm her down... right?
