He had felt the presence of the male descending down the stairs but had no sound to back up the idea of his approaching. He didn't look until the glasses were on the table with the alcohol poured. Zeth watched the bottle tip back up with that last drop glistening down the side. He picked up his and brought it to his lips. He was unaware that he smelled differently. The thought hadn't occurred to him. He took a drink from the glass and felt the sting of the drink.

"Thanks"

He offered just the one word as he looked up at his son. He was attractive, Zeth hadn't realized that before. He looked back to the door. He could hear the distance thunder of an oncoming shower. Well, that explained the moisture.
