Lucian recognized the energy as it pressed against the wards scattered through the structure. Rising from ivory sheets where a lifeless figure lay face down, Lucian moved to the door, pulling garments on in the process. His movements were hushed, almost silent as he stepped from the shadows into the light. Silver coins studied his father as fingers wrapped around a bottle of top shelf whiskey and a pair of shot glasses. Though Lucian did not drink, this seemed to be a good time for father-son bonding while there were no vaginas trolling about. Zeth smelled like a woman… someone he was no familiar with yet. Very interesting. He set the glasses down and poured three fingers worth of whiskey in each glass.
