Well, little kitty cat... Addison rose, narrowing her eyes. To get to her, you have to get past us. And trust me when I tell you nothing would give me greater pleasure than the sound of the snapping of a feline neck.

Nothing personal, mind you. Mainly the (ex?) boyfriend wreaking havoc on her conscience. She, too, loved her alphess quite a bit and was not willing to endure a regime change. That's why she'd left her country to live in this bloody place.

You. Mousier Nosy. Leave us be. This is no concern of yours. Addison waved a dismissive hand at Lucian, trying not to look too long at his face. He unnerved her in the worst way and anyone who would hurt a member of the fae couldn't be reputable.

We have allowed her into the grouping but when we depart, I entirely doubt she will be wanting to accompany us.

And, from the scent of her, she was a fox. Foxes were like the kid brothers of wolves. Cats weren't even marginally close to the family tree. Foxes=okay. Kittens=not okay.
