The Rain had been my last chance at finding Lyla's attacker. The rain didn't bother me like some, the streets emptied quickly, and i had them to myself. My path took me further into town and eventually to Velvet Underworld. Not my favorite hang-out, but it would do to get dry and pass the time until the rain let up. I pushed the door open and stepped into the dark. A commotion greeted my ears and eyes and I paused, survaying the scene before me. I saw Lucian first, by the bar, and my gaze followed where his attention rested, only Lyla and Addison. My gaze flicked back to his, reading the hunger, the glint of sexual wanting in his eyes. My own eyes narrowed and I focused on Lyla and Addison once more. Addison's gaze seems focused elsewhere in the bar, and i followed it, to find a female i did not know. Tilting my head, i settled quietly into a booth nearer the door, and out of the way of the conflict going on now. I would continue to watch, and keep an eye on the few loyal packmembers i had left. This could be interesting, and curiosity may just kill this kitty tonight. I still wasn't entirely sure was the hell was going on, and why tension was so high. No doubt I'd find out soon enough. and hopefully Addison and Lyla would keep their attention off of me, at least until i decided to make myself known to the big headed kitty on the far side of the bar.
