What doesn't follow mathematically that the distance is finite? The fact that the distance is finite?

Well, if we use a potentially infinite number of subdivisions, but I'm talking about the distance being traversed period. If it's finite (say, 8 meters), then I see know reason why it can't be traversed, considering the invalidity of the argument I was attacking.
