We have sent contenders in the past in Candace Glickman, Natalie Shaw, Rachel Barker, Lindsey Graham (the best IMO) and the state didn't need to have 30 girls in it to find those contenders. Look at Laura Kaeppeler's state, it's smalle but they still got the crown. Quality over quantity.

Of those girls, only Candice placed. The fact remains that NH hasn't found an "it girl" in years and years. Every local opens the state competition up to new girls. Those of you opposing this are being extremely selfish and frankly, I think some of you are just worried about competition at state (NT)No name19:13:15 04/13/13 Sat
The focus of the MAO is to provide scholarships to young women so they may advance their education. I don't understand why anyone would question an additional opportunity to earn scholarship dollars. Isn't that who we are? (NT)No name17:16:40 04/23/13 Tue
I really hope we stop using the line, Miss NH looks for a great representative of NH, not America. We need a beautiful girl to compete at Miss America, not a comly one. Please pick a beauty with talent and poise. (NT)No name04:25:36 04/24/13 Wed
Maybe they should make some of the USA girls feel more welcomed. (NT)They need to encourage all girls.18:04:08 04/24/13 Wed
