So many TCs in open platform lack the competence to teach correctly and if they would have taken their teachers it would have been picked up on and they probably would not even have their school.

We see it at nearly every feis, beginner and primary dancers attempting skills they are not ready for and most without solid basics or technique. Asking dancers to perform complex movements too early not only harms their development but also increases the risk of injury. It should be mandatory for all teachers to take their exam to ensure they have the knowledge to teach dancers at every stage not just open dancers. Stop being lazy or avoidant of the fact you cannot teach with proper standards and take your exams.
