Last exam I was at there was one guy they told "You barely passed this time, if you don't get someone to help you you won't pass the next level." I also used to sit in/ help with CLRG tests. Those things are just as shady and political as the dancing. People pull favors to help some people pass while dancers from smaller schools often fail simply because they are unliked, unpopular or just unknown.

The thing is with the WIDA exam, because it is broken down into parts you end up getting tested on more. You have to prep the same stuff, but with the WIDA exam you end up having to demonstrate more knowledge because you aren't being tested on all of it at one. CLRG is more like a end of school test while WIDA is like a final at the end of a quarter.

The people who eek by on one part of a WIDA test, and know they eek by, tend to not come back for the next part. So when you get to the later parts, there is a higher success rate because those people know what they are doing.
