| Subject: Now let's talk about his car BONE stock, no "lil mods" such as exhausts, ignition, K & N filter, spreadbore carb, or the like! Compare it to a car that weighs & 700 POUNDS LESS!!!!!! and has much more horsepower, which corellates with torque, 11.3:1 compression, SEVERELLY UNDER-RATED by Ford at 370 HP in 1971 as ALL the Mfrs were doing dyno'd at 425 HP. 1/4 mile, 0-60MPH, 0-100, top end, what's say? |

I'll take on Big Daddy Don Garlits of the Canuck in my BONE Stock '71 P.I 429 CJ car, anyday, anypalce, any time, running whatever kind of race he wants to run and I'll beat his pants off, at ALL of them! I also own that '78 460 P.I car, and it runs better than alot of large cars did back then, but nothing even close to the 429 CJ P.I., I DO OWN BOTH Cars, and I have driven both cars in all types of situations! I speak from experience, not from a sphinkter muscle, like this Canadian idiot! No stock 460 P.I car is going to do anything close to 14's or 15's in the quarter mile....... more like 17's. I've got Z rated police radials 235/70 R-15's, and my car rolls statically very well, too!
