(Especially for anyone looking to enter into this obsession that we call a hobby.) What is the concensus about the thought of "Clone" cars being able to participate and be judged along with actual restored "Police Package" cars? Searching for a Police Package to restore seems to be the challenge of this hobby, anyone can find an old car and make it into a Police clone. I understand that there are cars out there that were used in Police Service, but are not Police Package cars. In that case documentation should be a must. I would be curious to see the thoughts of the others on ths topic. Don't get me wrong, there are some nice "Clone Restorations" out there, but isn't it all about restoring authentic "Police Vehicles". I look forward to some quality conversation on this topic.
