Basically, you but the right to compete at Miss USA Plus, it's not fair to previous state winners who WON their title that you will get to say that you are a former Miss State. No, you're not. It's a relatively new thing and when something new like this happens, 99.99999% of the time it's due to poor leadership that should be replaced. Short of that, there is no excuse to have an open call of any type and then use the excuse that some states have no directors when there are many pageant people who would 100% take over the state directorship.
