Subject Author Date I'm friends with a contestant that competed that year. She said she was polite but kept herself segregated from everyone that week. She was not there for Miss Congeniality. She was not popular among tge other contestants and many were upset that she won. My friend said she didn't really care one way or another, but a victory for one of the friendlier girls would have been nice. If you watch the interview video and then her onstage competition, it's totally clear she didn't belong there. I don't know how she got in, but she took a spot from one of the other girls who performed MUCH better all week.
