1 mm is complete trash. The fact that you have oil rushing in that fast is also not good. Honestly I don't know if I would throw money at the rings right off the bat. Do you have a machine shop you can talk to? I have a guy around here I'd haul the engine to and have him take a look at which obviously doesn't do an ounce of good for you, but have a machine shop guy look at it. He can tell you if you just need new rings (and I'm guessing you need more than that) or if your cylinders are just worn to crap. At least if you talk to a professional they can move you in the right direction.
