Well, what did everyone think about tonight?

Ill be honest, Im in shock. I was in the room and I watched all three groups again tonight. Fitness & Wellness winners were dead wrong. Mississippi shouldnt have been in that tie at all. Honestly, should have been Virginia to win or at-least tie with Tennessee. Talent was spot on, North Dakota, she brought down the house, the energy in the room was off the charts, she was glowing, well deserved!

We find out top 15 - 12 - 10 - 5 tomorrow night in finals. Crazy. I think itll boil down to VA, AL, MS, TN, PA. Virginia is my pick to win. She deserves it. Mississippi wins it then I’ll pull all my support - wanna talk about a bad Pageant Director? Mississippi is a sore loser and a bully, that whole state group feels entitled to being National Winners, theyve had poor showing winners after taking home those couple of National titles. Not sure why people kiss his butt. Same for AK, TX, GA, SC - all those Directors are bullies. Honestly, the best hearted Directors are from TN, AL, VA, NH - all sweet and genuine.

See you all tomorrow night at Carl Perkins!

[> Subject: I mean VA shouldn’t win with that talent… it’s a 4 at best she has no technique and I agree she should’ve tied for swimsuit. VA directors… I mean they recruited this girl from OK she never lived in va the entire year and would fly back and fourth. As they had a state pageant with many ppl who actually lived in state so I think if VA wins it’s a little sketchy as she was basically told she would win the whole thing if she competed at va last year.

[> [> Subject: I watched VA pageant stream, Haleigh was the clear winner. None of those other girls even came close, not even the same hemisphere. Ive talked to a VA insiders and it’s just one disgruntled family spreading lies about Haleigh because their daughter couldn’t win. Wouldnt believe everything you hear or read.

[> [> [> Subject: You are missing the whole point. Haleigh did not meet the state residency requirements to compete in the VA state pageant, so Allison changed the rule to accept her taking classes online to meet the requirements. Allison did not announce this change to any of the other Volunteer contestants, allowing them to take advantage of this same opportunity to compete in states where they didnt meet the residency requirements. Therefore she bent the rules to help one specific candidate. Dont get me wrong, I absolutely love Haleigh. But this one decision put the pageants whole reputation on the line and Volunteer became just another rigged pageant.

[> [> [> [> Subject: I still dont understand why she didnt just compete in TX or OK. Or she could have even taken an appointed title. Why changes the rules and risk all the speculation when there are already 3 other pathways to her competing at National?

[> [> [> [> [> Subject: Both OK and TX directors were bullies who talked about everyone behind their backs. Both girls last year developed eating disorders because of those directors harassing behaviors towards them. The OK director had two girls in a row leave him because of this. I heard both directors were fired after last years national pageant. But then I heard Allison call out the OK directors business as one of the national sponsors at one of the prelims this week. So obviously she’s still putting money ahead of the girls wellbeing.

[> [> [> Subject: Weird. Guess we were not watching the same VA stream for their state pageant. No one in the same hemisphere? That is harsh and demeaning to those other girls. Haleigh is a great titleholder, but did you watch talent or just fitness?

[> Subject: Are you saying that if Mississippi wins that you’ll “pull your support because you dislike her Director? How is that fair to this young lady? From the livestream she seems sweet and because she won the top Salvation Army scholarship and a Presidential Service award, you know she’s done the work. BTW what does pull your support mean exactly? I’d hate to see you go but really pageants are subjective and unpredictable. Either accept that or stay mad.

[> Subject: Fact: I am looking at the Volunteer contract. To qualify for Virginia, HH only needed to show she was “enrolled as a full time student.” So…stop with the she didn’t qualify. She enrolled full time in a program at Liberty in the summer of 2024 for the fall of 2024. You might not like that this is the requirement but it is. Enough.

[> Subject: I was never a fan of state hopping but in today's environment I feel that open pageants and appointed titles are OK.They should be called "open title" and leave it at that. Accordingly, I hope for a great finals tonight. The judges know what the pageant is looking for in its winner, and if that's what we get, then we should all be happy IJS Personally, I am backing a contestant who I don't think can win at Miss A but she gets her shot at MVA and that makes me happy. Carry on.

[> [> Subject: Absolutely. I have no problem with Allison allowing girls to use online classes to participate in a states pageant. As long as they are transparent about it and everyone knows it’s allowed. I am sure alot more girls will be applying this way next year, now that they know it is allowed.
