Subject: And that's fine - let her win because she's tops in 3/4 categories. But the categories should be judged without bringing non-relevant considerations to bear. I liked what SC did - she was fun and a good performer. She was not the best talent.

[> [> [> [> [> Subject: One misconception about talent is it’s only based on talent. No, it’s not. It’s based on performance and entertainment value. Hence why NE was the most talented on that stage, but playing instruments is naturally harder to have the same entertainment value as a song or dance because it’s more difficult to connect to the audience when you need to watch your fingers. Singers and dancers mostly win in pageantry because the art form is most likely to connect to an audience. Based purely on talent, NE should have won. Adding the performance and entertainment value, it was a toss up between NE, NC, and CO
