Disappointed, no. It’s still a bit early. I’d like to see all states with a director and better production at the national level. It took 97 years to build up MAO and three for it to fall. Baby steps. Meanwhile, nationals needs to focus on message, hire a strong PR team, production company, and focus on the aired show as the future of Miss Volunteer is watching. -- Miss Volunteer America Pageant

[> Subject: Completely agree. Why partner with St. Jude’s and preach service if your national titleholder won’t do more than maybe 2 appearances relating to service. Call it what it is, Miss USA with a talent category. If they want that to change they should: actually have an emphasis on service, give half decent scholarships to anyone besides the winner, and figure out their branding.
