Subject: paranoia may destroy ya;)

i got your point. but, still, don't you think that paranoia and conspiracy theories are just a bit too much? people tend to see conections between random events, and i'm often surprised on how those connections are made. don't get me wrong, i do believe that certain things (most of them to be precise) are connected, and that what you see and hear is not always what really IS. but, do we have to connect things on such a basic level, and by doing that, miss what's most important?
let me explain it a bit. we live in information age, with access to knowledge on what's happening in every corner of the world. we have newspapers, newspapers have correspondents in countries such as lesoto or sao tome & principe, we have tv, internet, we have a closed circle of information delivered daily to your home. and of course, it's easy to notice a similar pattern of events through the world, not to mention fear and destruction you thought impossible.
are thigs connected? is there a one mind, behind all the terror and confusion in the world today? i don't believe in a major conspiracy, the mighty 12 or whatever name you might give it. no conspiracy can make people unhappy or miserable or sick or depressive. you are not geneticaly predisposed on taking drugs or murdering your next-door neighbour, simply because she played some sleezy musical too loud, are you? and that is what's causing detoriation of modern society.
do you honestly believe that your life has a purpose, and that, what ever happens, will go well? if you do, you are one of few, because people tend to believe that their life has no purpose, and that nothing will ever change to good for them. it's a lot easier, than taking risks, making chances...
i live in a, what's populary called, transition society. i see its destruction every day. and i see all the reasons why the world's destructing, eating itself alive. no conspiracies, no paranoia, no ulterior motives - simply unhappines, fear, lack of beliefs and moral values. people die when they loose things they love and hold dear, why wouldn't it be the case with the world also?
