Subject: *A very egg-heavy queen lumbers in, hissing at the two girls in her way.*

*A smaller, lithe girl stumbles in, eyes wide and mouth curved into a broad grin. She waves frantically to the two Candidates, "Quick! Move! She's clutching!" and darts forward to snag their sleeves and haul them back. Kylith, always the broody one, hisses until the girls are off her Sands and proceeds to coil around herself and lay a total of 25 eggs - a small but healthy clutch. Channa, curling black hair framing a face vaguely like S'sha's, watches, leaning over the rails in the stands. The Igen queen, glowing faintly, seems to pause over her eggs, and then, eyes swirling rapidly, deposits one last egg on the burning hot sands - a queen egg! Channa erupts into cheers and the gold curls protectively around her soft-shelled clutch, crooning maternally. The Weyrlady's younger sister finally takes good notice of Jenna and Wessae, and grins amiably at them. "Hiya! I'm Channa. You two're Candidates, right?? Awfully early! But her eggs won't be hard for another ((real time)) half week, or so. I'm a Candidate too!" She adds the last announcement with childish glee, though being of a full 15 Turns and able to mature - when she wants to. ((Don't worry, she's not a queen Candidate. That'd be REALLY unfair. *G*)) Kylith, meanwhile, ignores the familiar girl and informs her rider smugly that she's clutched.*
