Subject: R'nos, or Alara, please!
In reply to: Wessae 's message, "Gazing around thoughtfully, she gets a sudden idea." on 19:33:59 12/17/01 Mon

"Sorry, I don't. Or maybe I do! I met R'nos and Alara here, and they've both got flits. Maybe they wouldn't mind lending you one." Kalya turned to the direction where R'nos was talking to Alara.

"Hey, R'nos!" she called, being careful to be rather quiet about it, so as not to disturb anyone. She quickly walked over to where R'nos was standing, and her feet made small, mincing steps as she crossed the Sands, now just realizing that maybe it had been a mistake to where slippers. Maybe she should have dropped that part of what seemed to be traditional garb. Grinning, Kalya tried to ignore the sand as she walked over to greet R'nos.

She had had little formal education on manners, but she knew the basics, and waited for the new BrownRider he was talking to to finish before she asked. "R'nos? Alara? My friend Wessae kind of needs a flit to take a message for her. I know you both have flits...so maybe one of you could lend her one?" she finished hopefully, praying that she wasn't asking too much, while still keeping her face calm, though her eyes betrayed some of her nervousness.
