Only one woman addressed him as such, and in that tone of voice. He turned, and nearly knocked the chair over in order to stand.
"Weyrwoman Rinali, you honour me. Sit with me?" the brownrider asked, his voice gentle. He usually yelled, but not now. Not with an old, dear friend.

/Lilith, you do look truly wonderful today. How are you?/ Ojeth asked, conversationally. He lounged in the sun, wings hanging by his sides in order to absorb the most sun.
/Sun with me?/ he asked hopefully. He was the oldest brown, that he knew of. And Lilith was just a few minutes younger than he was- his had been the last egg to hatch before Lilith had made her entrance to the world, and bonded to a then- fifteen-Turn-old Rinali. He had been busy with his own bonded, but had stopped to watch the queen of the clutch hatch.

The brownrider offered the queenrider his chair, and poured a little wine from his flask into one of the finestemmed goblets that dotted the tables. Fortunately, since this table was full of underaged weyrlings, none that dotted this table were being used.
"Some fine Benden white, Weyrwoman?"

((Yes, I know that Rinali is retired, but T'rtatus has declared that Rinali is his weyrwoman- no matter her real rank. Awwww, I think he just might like her...It's up to you. I can stuff a rag in his mouth, or have an interesting things going, but-
I think I'll shut up now. I've got a few more posts to write. I have a newly Impressed weyrling at another site- must go write post. trudges along))
