Tr'ln was quiet for a long while, deep in thought and stroking Agust absent mindedly. Why did he have to go and abandon baby Trag and Tsuga? Why didn't he just live with it?

However, he was startled out of his thoughts by a flit's squack. He watched, wide eyed, as the two fought, walking up his own green. Agust, crying piteously, started to scream a little in protest to her oh-so-precious beauty-sleep being so rudely dealt with, and only after Tr'ln stroked her and whispered to her that she even considered quieting down.

That was enough to break the silent, awkward time, though the question about Latroth helped to keep it past.

"Latroth? he's the best." the rider smiled, his eyes showing a love only a rider could show for their dragon. "How could he be any better than he is, that's what I wonder. He's not lazy, that's for sure. He's always so excited, and so active." the rider gave a small, quiet laugh. "Why, if all browns were lazy, they'd have to demote him to a blue or something!"

Of course, all riders must think of their dragons as fondly, Tr'ln knew. "But, I've heard alot about Mylanith. Why don't you tell me about her?" Truth be told, Tr'ln was more of a listener than a talker.
